ABOUT ME
I am a student of Communication, Media, and Psychology (CP) at Christ University, with a growing interest in understanding how media, information, and human behaviour interact to shape society. As a student reporter, I engage with journalism not only as a profession but also as a lens to critically examine social realities.
This blog has been created as part of a course assessment requirement, and it serves as a space to reflect on classroom discussions, theoretical frameworks, and real-world media practices. Through this platform, I explore themes related to journalism, communication, media ethics, and psychological perspectives on media consumption, drawing connections between academic learning and contemporary issues.
I believe journalism plays a crucial role in a democratic country like India — not merely by informing citizens, but by shaping public opinion, amplifying diverse voices, and holding those in power accountable. As a CP student, this blog allows me to analyse how media influences attitudes, behaviour, and societal narratives.
More than just an academic exercise, this blog represents my effort to think critically, write responsibly, and reflect meaningfully on the impact of communication and media on individuals and society. It is a step in my ongoing learning journey, where education extends beyond textbooks and into observation, questioning, and dialogue.
